New Video Alert: Aaron Nigel Smith & The 1World Chorus, Jamaica

Published on Apr 17, 2015 via Ziggy Marley’s Youtube.

Aaron Nigel Smith, co-founder of the 1World Chorus non-profit organization, heads to Kingston, Jamaica to bring music to the students of Haile Selassie High School and the St. Ann Parish High School. The following takes a look at his time there and the impact it had on the students on the community.

From this and other programs like it, Aaron Nigel Smith and Tuff Gong Worldwide have put together ‘1World Children’s Chorus: Celebrating Bob Marley’, an album of Marley classics as performed and recorded by students from around the world.

Through this partnership and new album release, we’ve been able to donate shoes, books, instruments, free music lessons, and free recording sessions to young kids. Additionally, part of the proceeds from the release will go back to the music schools in countries we visited as means of helping to keep them going and inspire young children for generations to come.
